There was an old hammock chair in our house that never really was used before as the kids and myself thought this was something only for the old folks. In the end, it got too old and dusty that my mother sold it in a garage sale. But soon after that, we received a present from our uncle from the country, which is another chair like this. He said that these hammock chairs were a specialty in their place and he wanted us to try one. Out of respect for my uncle, we tried it out. And to our amazement, we actually liked this new chair! It was so comfortable to sit in and you can really relax while in here. No wonder the old people love this chair. Yet after I got married, we found a San Diego fertility clinic that helped me bear a child. An anonymous egg donor made it possible for me to conceive from my husband’s sperm. It meant a whole lot to me to be able to give birth to our daughter, even though I could not contribute my genetics. In fact, given the medical issues I had growing up, it is probably a good thing.
